As regards their gamesmanship, standard Barcelona Messi is forever waving the yellow card, genius but he's a ****** and all the Barca players, much like Madrid are in the refs ear from minute 1. I thought the ref was weak and didn't put down a marker early on. Barca got away with too much.

Suarez was always a horrible cunt, some were blinded because he played for us. Personally I always thought he was a cunt... but he was our cunt & every team needs players like that who will win at all costs. That's what winners are made of.

I think we will beat Barca in the return leg but it won't be enough, we needed that safety blanket away goal. They will be fresh from resting players whilst we have to go full strength vs Newcastle. Their tactics putting Semedo on the right late on was a smart move. Two right backs on the right to try to control our rampaging left side, I think that's what they will do in the 2nd leg aswell. That's how good Robertson is that Barca had to do that.

It was a real kick in the balls last night I was so annoyed, we don't lose by 3 goals and matters were made worse by the fact we actually should have scored 3 or 4 ourselves, not just half chances either absolute sitters. We have gone from title challengers and possible champs league finalists to praying City slip up against Leicester & a miracle happens at Anfield against Barca. The abuse I got from mancs today and other fans was a joke, absolutely loving it they are. This club needs trophies at the end of the day, been a fantastic season but trophies is what you ultimately are judged on.

...it's also the fact that for the last 2 months he's literally been on fire, form wise. I've not seen him as pumped as this for years... it's like he's been rejuvenated.
