All their ****housery tactics will be ten times worse at Anfield and they'll try to kill the game after 10 minutes...

I'm secretly hoping they think it's all done and dusted and they just need to use their snide gamesmanship to make their way to the final in Madrid.

We absolutely have to fly out of the traps on Tues. If they get a goal early on, it'll completely kill it as a spectacle.
Yeah he was well up for it. Their dirt, they can't help but cheat and it will absolutely be happening x10 at Anfield. Anything to disrupt play or cheat for free kicks and pens. We have to go full tilt against their fresh legs, up until they got that 2nd goal they were out on their feet. We matched them for possession and they aren't used to it. That had to work harder to keep the ball too and they aren't used to that either. 2nd goal was a killer & 3rd was just deflation.

greatest of all time no question even though his free kick took a deflection off Gomez which lifted beyond height Allison could get up

This has two effects. A) You no longer have to deal with Messi and B) The rest of the Barca side have a tendency to lose their cool easily. Especially Biscuits, Suarez and Peekay. Milly may get sent off for it, but the odds one of those scumbags reacts is extremely high and we could have them off too.
In Old Trafford someone cracked Messi on the nose early days and he done nothing. Possibly Smalling, it worked though.

Why does Klopp favour origi over Shaq? There must be a reason, and a specific one for last night, but from the outside it is really hard to work out.

Maybe we need a proper striker ...i doubt Fernando Torres or Ian Rush would miss chances like that and costly ones

We have one but he's shot. But we knew this this time last year.

Pace? He’s done well when he’s come on previously IMO

I think he's quick, strong and a more direct option

Then crush them 5-0 and watch Suarez cry, the rat toothed sudaca.

I mean for the 2nd Leg I suppose the gameplan has to be open up more ? I think we played well other than that moment of brilliance from Louie in the first half I cant remember them having much luck against us. If we can repeat that again and get a goal before 30 minutes why not ... throw caution to the wind and ****ing hit them with everything ... if there is one thing this Liverpool team are more than capable of doing is blowing teams away .. perhaps when we have nothing to lose, with the rub of the green we can get back into this tie

I wonder if we beat Newcastle and City dropped points v Leicester would Klopp not bother even trying to beat Barca??? Doubt he could bring himself to do it.

I know it is a long shot, but you never ****in know. Anfield will be rocking and if we get an early goal, then Barca might wobble.

The disappointing thing for me is that we should have scored at least 2 (probably more like 3 or 4) ourselves. If we lost 3-2 last night, we'd all be ****in buzzing now.

Big fear is that this will impact the game on Saturday. Really want to take the PL to the last game.

He'd have to rest/protect some key personnel. I'd be highly disappointed if he didn't.

I think that an out and out striker would be useful as a squad option, I know in general our forward play is much more complicated and about creativity but in situations late in games a striker who just stays in the penalty area and if he gets a chance is likely to put it away would be a useful option
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Tuesday/Sunday is a long enough gap to not rotate in the last week of the season.

If we get to a point where a home win to win the league, nothing else really matters to me. (anyway the wind blows)

We tried that with Aspas. Never again
