Gutted. To go to the Nou Camp and be the better team and have enough chances to win the game but lose 3-0 it pretty heart breaking. Messi - greatest player of all time. We’re a ****ing good team with a great manager and on the verge of trophies. It’ll happen but bell ends saying “bottlers” ****s sake get back to red cafe you absolute wank stain of a supporter

Don't get the Suarez hating at all. He pretty much single handedly prevented this club from going to a very very dark place. Definitely one of the best, if not the best Liverpool players I've ever seen. Some people have very short memories. He didn't do an Adebayor and antagonise us. He plays the game hard and is a winner. Wish he still played for us.

Didn't expect 3-0, the players are to blame for that. Particularly Mane, Milner and Salah.

But picking Gomez meant we would lose, that was guaranteed. Klopp took the piss with the CL like Pep did earlier. And got banged the same way.

Gomez is a mediocre FB, and that's just defensively. Offensively he's non existent. Needs to stick to CB.

All that effort. We played very well. Missed sitters.

But Klopp again for me has dropped a massive ****ing clanger. Why does he play Gomez at right back? He was ****ing awful. Can't pass at all, ever.

In all our poor results its been when klopp has made a bizarre choice. Sturridge at Utd ffs. Why does he keep doing this?
Live by the sword, die by the sword

Arguable it was bad decison, I'm sure there were valid reasons and it's not why we missed the chances that would have kept us in the the tie.

He gets 90% right which is a lot more than most.

How does the way we've been playing in the league fit into your "bottling" gambit?

Yeah. I wouldn't model myself on him or anything but that ****ing attitude drove us forward almost as much as his outrageous skill. No problem with him being the same guy now as he was then for me, I mean I don't like it but I'm not holding it against the sneaky little rat ****

Must have forgotten when he played for us and tried to force a transfer to ****in Arsenal saying he wants to play for a big club or something like that. Always been a disgusting rat, only it's tolerable when he plays for you.

Whilst I agree we need more squad depth, particularly in attacking positions, it's not the reason why we lost the CL final last year. We lost that because Karius donated 2 goals. It wasn't ideal that Lallana was playing, but like Gomez tonight, not at all the reason why we lost.

This for me is our one weakness, we aren't clinical enough in front of goal, as good a side as we are (and we really are a good side), we take too many chances to score and put games to bed, the run of late wins recently has shown that and when one or more of the front 3 are off form we look like we struggle for goals. The midfield really don't get their fair share (ok recently they have got a few but are still below what we should be looking at). I guess we thought the guys we brought in in the summer (Keita and Shaqiri) would perhaps change that, but we needed to bring in a 4th option up front, that has to be one of our priorites this summer.

To be fair he just tweaked my post but omitted the Gomez bit.

Saying that, Robbo was 3 v 1 at the end and he hoovered up. I digress

Ultimately a slightly fortunate second and a Worldie 3rd have skewed the score.

We didn’t deserve to win, but we definitely didn’t deserve 3-0.

If we can score first 20 mins at Anfoeld it might get interesting.
Of course it's not all on Gomez. But their second I could see coming. ****ing playing balls out to Gomez who then can't do anything with it in tight situations like trent can is asking for trouble. It's not Gomez's fault, he's out of position. Stop giving him the ball so often.

Anyway. It is what it is. I've just driven back at break neck speed from Northampton to make the game and I'm ****ing tired.
