It's worrying that we keep on choking when it matters, as brilliant as our performances can be. Salah and Mane just shat the bed in a crucial game. Some of the players we have are good footballers, useful squad members over the season, but should be nowhere near a game like this. Milner is too vanilla, Wijnaldum is to me THE anti-goalscorer, scores every now and then but mainly you just see his whole body screams panic when he gets into a position. Even as a midfielder his composure is a concern, but as a forward?? Mental decision.
Our fans get sentimental over these types of players so you can't even mention replacing them, but the truth is they are backup material and we need upgrades for when it really matters. Gomez I can't blame for tonight, should never have been picked, that's 100% on Klopp. Even with him on I actually thought we were equals, but we just didn't produce again and that's a concern. We can't keep playing well and win **** every year.

It's crazy but we played well and were probably the better side until they got the 2nd, at which point we lost our heads going for the away goal and could have lost by 5 or 6, 2-0 wouldn't have been great but 3-0 is a hell of alot worse. I'd love to believe that we can do it, Barcelona lost a 3 goal lead in the 2nd leg against Roma last year so it's possible but very very difficult. If only we could have taken one of those chances...

We need to sort our heads out and get 3 points against Newcastle on Saturday, we can't afford and hangover from this otherwise our season is as good as over.

Suarez/Messi was sitting in between Gomez and Matip, enticing Joe in and leaving Alba on the overlap.

Got ****ed over in a CL Final because we had no attacking depth then did **** all in the summer about it. And here we are at the Nou Camp with an out of form central midfielder as a false 9. We really don't help ourselves sometimes.
