Still very early in the season to compare points and positions. Take each game as it comes and play towards mini targets. City are a good team and anybody can beat anybody on a good day so let’s just focus on our own game and performances, keep everyone fit then look at the table next year!

we are miles better than anyone else, got to back us to go for it

I felt like we accepted draws away to United and Everton last year as we thought we'd make up the ground with our easier run in. Can't make that same mistake again. There were some games we probably didn't deserve to win last year, but when we went for it, sheer will got us over the line. We can't make that mistake again.
Chelsea have lost their best player. We have a rookie manager up against a world class manager. They haven't won at home yet, are conceding 2+ goals per game and were beaten 4-0 by an average United team.
They gave us a decent game in the Super Cup but we didn't start with Bobby or Trent. If everyone is fit for for this, we really should have little trouble beating them.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Of course.
Poorly worded, but have is not possessive, 'we have this situation...'.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
