No way they can do that in the Premier League. It'd be like asking Usain Bolt to walk the 100m so it's fair for everyone...
The only way that would be remotely "fair" is if you got a 1 goal head-start in each game per 5 point lead you have over the team.

        • No players or staff to be tested.

        • Fewer than five Arsenal players are in self-isolation, having been in contact with Marinakis in the tunnel.

        • The players' 14-day isolation period expires tomorrow.

        • The unaffected players trained as normal on Tuesday.

No players or staff to be tested and majority of squad unaffected and training as normal.

So why isn't the game going ahead?

Interesting to see what comes out of that La Liga meeting today. Could have massive implications for all the major football leagues across Europe.

The tests typically take 48 hours, so I guess that as these are nearing the end of the 14 day isolation period, and the players not yet displayed symptoms, so they're deemed to be a lower risk, and so de-prioritised when it comes to using the already stretched testing resources, particularly if there is a wider testing backlog for the rest of the population.

But they still need to self-isolate as a precaution.

              But that's just a guess.
              Oh I don't know.

Would be interesting to see the Premier Leagues TV contracts.

A legally binding contract which states the PL have got to supply Sky X amount of games per season.

Serie A has about a 10 point gap between 1st and 3rd, A play off between the top two who are separated by a single point might be fair, but it would be very generous to give the other teams a chance.

Looking increasingly ominous across football now.

It will be incredibly hard to take if this ends with the PL not being completed

Lets hope Burnley beat City and then we can win it on Monday and get it done and dusted asap

We wait 30 years for the title. We are magnificent the whole season and now I fear we are going to get shafted here somehow. Even if we do win it. It's hardly party time given the cluster **** in our ordinary lives with this dreadful virus

Hopefully. Monday feels like a long time away. The disruption to football is coming thick and fast every day now.
