Yeah he was great first half, our best player.

Faded in the second half so still a bit of work to do on match fitness.

felt he could have hit his shots a bit harder, and looked erratic trying to scramble in their box, but that's my only criticism. young player problems.

It's the best he's played since the injury. A Fab/Thiago/Elliot starting midfield looks the strongest when everybody is fit.

I think he needs to fill out a bit.

Our midfield needs to be physically strong, and being big helps a lot. Not sure Thiago and Elliott would work well. I still see Elliott as a forward.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

was playing almost as a #10 who tracks back. could work in a 2 pivot system, but in an inverted triangle he'll have a job.

Will be epic in a year or two.

With carvalho hopefully coming through as well, then you wonder will Jones **** off before long

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

club-grown squaddies at his level are tough to come by.

Yep so true. He looked amazing in the youth setup but hasn’t taken the next step like so many have failed to do before him.

I think he still could. He looked great last season before his injury, and I thought he looked great last night, especially for a youngster.

People have given ox about 5 years benefit of doubt, given his injury, and he’s been a top earner in that time too- let’s give Harvey a chance to come back from his one.
                            I don't tip

I may be wrong, but I think he meant Jones

I thought he was very lively at times in the game, and quiet in others. However. I never thought he'd deliver a killer pass...don't know why, maybe because he hasn't so far but maybe also because his passing so far has been quite predictable. This is not a failure - he is young - but is something to work on.
