This is it!

The football league season starts here! It's fair to say we've had a fairly **** pre-season results wise but we all know that's not what it's all about - instead we've oiled the machine and are now in a position to start the crushing engine again for another successful season!

I like Norwich at the moment, they play really well but their defence is a bit naïve and they were crushed by Atalanta despite playing well - I expect our game to be the same - lots of good open play followed by some ruthless finishing from our front three - our game against City in the Community Shield showed we're on the right track.

Can't wait for this game. I feel sorry for Norwich fans having to take a day off work to attend their first game back in the Premier League. But selfishly I am happy as **** that I don't have to wait to see the mighty reds - the Euro-****in-pean Champions - back in proper action.

I expect the atmosphere to be electric. It will be like a champions league semi - where it will be a bright evening but the lights needed then for the second half.

I am hoping that Norwich start playing their own brand of football. At which point we should get joy. I don't know much about them (apparently they have a couple of good young players - Max Aarons being the most potential?) but I think if we get the early goal then we should have some joy.

Origi is a banker to start and maybe Mane few mins at end. I was actually surprised at how sharp Mo and Bobby were. Naby had no pre season either so can't see him starting.

If we play anything like we did in that second half, we'll smash them. First half though, we were lethargic.
