Matip for me.

I really like Gomez, but Matip for me too. Mainly because he's so good at bring the ball into midfield. As some as he came on against City he did it and it opened the game up. Incredible really, but he does it so well.

Even if Gomez was MOTM against City, I expected Matip to start.

The position is his to lose and as much as Klopp is a fan of Gomez, I think he picked him against City due to his pace against Sterling etc. and also on a personal level as he missed out in Madrid.
