Most promoted clubs splash copious amounts of cash only to be relegated. They are then saddled with a lot of expensive players to offload at a loss, on top of the loss they make going down (even with parachute payments)

Maybe its a better option to try with the players you have. If you succeed and stay up. Then you are financially good to splash some cash the next season. If not you can use the parachute payments to try and strengthen and get promoted again

Did not realise they had gotten Ralf Fährmann in. Good loan signing for them. Very solid keeper for a club like Norwich.
