I remember a TV host saying it happened against Barca, yet the season was closed out with the record intact according to others ?Originally posted by Norbs View PostI thought someone did it in the CS or SC final...

Results machine. VVD legs. Gorillas. Top of the league. That interplay between the front 5 in the 2nd half at some point was just scintillating, proper ping pong, no one had a ****ing clue what was going on. And we're only 3 games in, still in rust mode, wiping tears of blood off the opposition's drenched faces with an oil-stained rug that we happened to use for oiling those gears in the red machine, all 11 cogs, big lumps of oil and fat, get them greased up, ready for deployment in the desert, the high mountains, the oceans, nothing can stop it
League, mu'fkz!

I assume that the distinction is PL games now or until today, (even if it was all games up to Barcelona / Charity Shield etc) That's the way the media keep these things going (and get to use them multiiple times if it happens to be broken in a cup game first)Originally posted by McDermotX View PostI remember a TV host saying it happened against Barca, yet the season was closed out with the record intact according to others ?
Who ****ing knows TBHThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Why did arsenal play like that!? Normally they give us a game! Today we dominated! Pressed them from their goal kicks and forced them into errors (when the defender played a square pass onto their own box straight to Mane).
We could have made better use of the time & space allowed to our fullbacks. First half they put in plenty of crosses without much reward so deffo room to improve on that even though the box was packed.
Still, great result, superp Salah Penalty & classic second goal! 9 out of 9 points, 12 wins in a row, top of the league & last remaining team unbeaten

Yeah. Ridiculous about as clear a pen as you could wish to see. We’d have got one for the foul onVVD if Joel hadn’t scored I reckon.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostEmery complaining about the penalty being soft
WTF?
Decent summary on MOTD I thought. We were superb.
Also shows the level of detail in our prep when Jurgen pointed out that Arsenal hadn’t played with a diamond in the 8 games they analysed.
One thing I notice with our players is how lean we are. I reckon the entire squad are 0% body fat.Modifying post.

Watched this with my Wound licking Everton fan brother, even he admited through gritted teeth we blew arsenal away.
I don't remember us being that good at this point last year, this is the best Liverpool side I've watched in the last 30 years, easily.
The only thing us not keeping a clean sheet yet shows me is just how imperative Mr Becker is to us.
We are the best team in Europe right now, period.ps3 fanclub member#1
