Interesting one, but if that was offside should Arsenal have the corner or is that the risk you take in actually defending it with the way offsides are (or aren't) called?Originally posted by McDermotX View PostHere we go now again with VAR.
Player offside, but linesman won't make the call. Play continues. Arsenal allowed to have corner.
???
Obviously if Arsenal had scored from the corner we would have a right to feel aggrieved, but VAR is only used for the big decisions and I guess that the award of a corner doesn't count, but it is something that VAR has brought about.Last edited by Exiled_red; 24-08-19, 06:45 PM.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It's ridiculous......it was an easy decision for the linesman and yet he wouldn't make the call.
We played ball by defending well, and yet Arsenal profit from what should have been called offside by having a potential dangerous setpiece."I will make the boys feel your support"
