Sterling, B. Silva and D. Silva all started for City yesterday. Sounds like we're going to gamble a bit more than that with our team selection.

Really looking forward to this tonight.
Its a free hit as far as i'm concerned and am looking forward to seeing some of the kids (especially Hoever and Brewster) and also where Keita is in his fitness while not having to worry about the big players getting injured.

Absolutely fine with us playing that team, City rested Sterling in an 8-0 league win, we simply don't have that luxury!
I'd love to pick up a domestic cup this year but this squad is build for the biggest prizes and our squad size and fixture list pretty much dictates this is the sensible approach.Vive la France

Hope we have a good run in both cups this year- would be good to win one (or both), but the main reason, for me, is to be able to give the youngsters gametime.
Also keeps the likes of shaqiri/origi/lallana/Ox/etc. sharp. We don’t rotate much, but if (god forbid) one of the front 3 gets injured, we don’t want to be bringing in someone who hasn’t played any meaningful minutes in the prior few months.. Shaq was the only rusty one against Barca*- he might have been better, if he had been playing cup games..
*obviously, I would not change a thing about that gameI don't tip
