How can a player under contract at Liverpool be ineligible?...unless you name a squad for the Carabao cup like you do in the CL, the organisers have no leg to stand on...Like to see them devalue the competition by kicking out one of the main attractions on a technicality on their side!

Players need to be registered for you, whether they have a contract with you or not.Originally posted by Angryred View PostHow can a player under contract at Liverpool be ineligible?...unless you name a squad for the Carabao cup like you do in the CL, the organisers have no leg to stand on...Like to see them devalue the competition by kicking out one of the main attractions on a technicality on their side!Like blood on iron

Nope.Originally posted by Angryred View PostSurely that has to come hand in hand regardless!
Hence loans being possible.
If you're loaned out by a club, you still have your contract with them but not your registration.
Ultimately, it's just admin and someone, somewhere along the line cocked it up.Oh I don't know.

That's what I'm saying...once you've signed a contract, it should be compulsoryOriginally posted by Red_Polo View PostHow are football authorities supposed to know you've got a contract with a club? They don't, unless you tell them, by going through a process to formalise registration.
for the clubs to inform the football authorities of your registration regardless.
It should be automatically done like at a touch of a button!
The online technology is there for this so it beggars belief if this is not in place!Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Why it has to be such a ridiculous process I don't know. Its almost as though the governing bodies are bloated ineffective organisations prone to corruption isn't it?!Originally posted by Angryred View PostThat's what I'm saying...once you've signed a contract, it should be compulsory
