Sheffield Utd vs Liverpool - Premier League (19/20 - Game 7)
I didn't think we played well at Chelsea. Great free kick and Bobby header, thought we looked devoid of ideas, especially second half. We played similar away last year vs utd, everton and a few others. Not sure what it is, but I like all 3 midfielders, but dislike when they all play together. We still need a link between midfield and attack, more so away from home.
If any of our players could confidently and cleanly hit a ball from edge of area it would help. The Ox can and I like his power in the team. Keita will be key if he stays fit. We do have options.
Anyway 3 points, that's the key, and it could have been more as buzzo said we created decent chances.
Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde
still created another 3 big chances playing 'poor'. Feel like the formation is creaking a little bit as people know what to expect. Think we will mix it up a bit soon with 442 with Bobby dropping in making it almost 4231 to confuse everyone
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
Don't really care how we did it. We bagged the points against a newly promoted side away from home, who were always going to perform for their fans and for the cameras.
Really happy with that. Was resigning myself to a hard earned point but a Utd player giving us all three. You couldn't make it up. Off to the cafe rouge.
What worried me was they did the same thing time & time again with long balls in behind TAA in particular & we didn’t adjust to combat it. Matip did well considering how much he was left exposed but the right side where terrible tonight. Hendo seemed to be given the task of slotting in at RB when Trent bombed on but it didn’t work at all. That was horrible to watch & hopefully just a blimp in the road.

the Trent 'thing' is interesting, does get caught behind a bit. Salah helped him a lot in their first season but its stopped, whenever Henderson/Milner help him out we tend to struggle in the middle and higher up so just moving the problem. This system is so organised doesn't take much to throw it off balance.
How many times has it actually cost us? Just need to accept it as part of this system and take it on the chin when it fails. Would like us to adjust when we need to see games out though.
I think if teams do their prematch planning on pressing the keeper and targeting Trent, Klopp will take that all day tbh.
