Love klopp but you cant blame your opponents for not playing well or the way you want them to. It's up to us to out skill them, we have the superior players. It is our Achilles sometimes, we struggle to take control and influence games positively when teams set up to disrupt. It can't of been a surprise to him surely? Same last season, all this point gained ****, last years non performance cost us the title. But it was massive to not lose. Massive. Our lack of firepower from the squad is going to make it hard at times. Really hope Ox and Keita kick on, they could make us a different proposition altogether. 6 points clear. Come on reds.

Yeh Lallana was excellent, Keita moving ball quicker than other lads and Ox wasnt great but at least he took a shot outside the box.

It was bollocks reffing and that's what killed us off. I hope we put them to the sword at Anfield, nasty cunts
Awful game and a poor performance in the first half from us. But this result says everything about the teams, they are being lauded for a good performance, having camped in their box all second half.

They played to their strength and looked an Allardyce team.

Knew it was going to be hard, pleased to remain unbreaten, and Hendo has to step up, there are three midfielders staking a claim for his spot.

Thought Ox was alright, positive impact.

Lallana was my MotM. Anyone got the video of that skill he pulled off by the touchline? Still can't believe it (was him).

Jose was doing his best to get every team playing the low block against us the cunt. If that is a tactic deployed against us more often then we need to be starting either one of Naby or Lallana instead of Henderson.

it is a blatant tactic used against us by certain teams. Need to get Keita, Ox and Lallana fit for suatained periods so they can help us with their creativity. The midfield has really been poor the last few games and needs a shake up.

Positives for me were the subs. Great having Lallana, Naby and Ox affecting the game. We have had a pretty consistent 11 at the start of the season but that was unlikely to continue for long. Also got Shaqiri and others to play a part.

Squad isn't that bad but I agree with Origi. I thought he had an OK game but there's a big drop off from Salah.

Fully agreed, Hendo doesn't have the skill and guile to break teams down who play that.

After having a little time to calm down I can understand why Mane's goal was disallowed, there isn't much in it but I guess those are the rules. Their goal shows what was wrong with the referee and with the VAR system. For me the referee should give the foul (as Henderson said he was giving those fouls in their favour all day). I heard a couple of things said post match that are interesting on this, one being that the ref isn't sure it's a foul so doesn't give it hoping that VAR will correct it later which is poor refereeing. The other thing was that if the ref doesn't see it then it can't be a mistake and therefore shouldn't be overturned That's so nuts that even for the stupid way the VAR rules work just can't be true otherwise what's the point.

As poor was we were for the first 75-80mins of the game I still think that poor officiating cost us. Atkinson was a disgrace, he gave us nothing all afternoon and refereed the game hugely to their benefit. When we got the goal the atmosphere completely went inside the ground and I believe that had we scored with 15mins to go rather than 5 we would have won the game.

There is clearly some kind of mental block with us at OT which we need to get over, they are a really poor side, only Rashford and James looked anywhere near decent the rest are truely awful.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'm not too frustrated about the Mane decision but Atkinson general referring was a blatant disgrace.

That said if a defender does that in their own box VAR/ a ref would never rule it as a pen. The subjectivity is a cloak for refs to bottle decisions. Incidents in football need to be closer to black and white.

And this clear and obvious ****e needs to be kicked to the kerb, a foul is a foul. If the refs missed it, **** him. He's not a snowflake. Refs in other sports accept human error. Football needs to do so as well.

I don't buy into this mental block idea. Sure, we haven't won in 5 attempts since Klopp took charge, but we've also lost just once.

A big shout out to Van Dijk, Matip and Fabinho for attempting to crush James to pieces.
