Keita and Lallana's performances have to be big positives. Ox wasn't bad either but I have to say the biggest positive, that has been overlooked, is the return of the big man in goal
We looked much brighter when Ox, Keita & Lallana came on

Prior to that we were plodding and slow in possession, I am not normally a big fan of Lallana because I feel he holds the ball too long and is too slow generally but I thought when those 3 subs were made we moved the ball much quicker into more threatening areas

In general I thought we were poor but United werent exactly any great shakes either

Yes, it is a major positive that we have players on the bench that can come on and have an impact even in tough circumstances. I feel Shaqiri would have played part too were it not for his injury.

We were struggling to keep the ball, and those substitutions gave us the technical players between the lines to keep it, and move off the ball too.

Whenever they're on I put the TV on mute & listen to the radio commentary

I think we kept the ball quite well 2nd half just not in areas that really mattered. We also looked too often to play the ball sideways and backwards

For me it happens quite a bit when Wijnaldum and Henderson play together, they lack creativity and arent prepared to gamble with a forward ball

We wouldn't have got away with 4 subs though

...or they get frustrated and then Hendo goes for the Hollywood ball and just gifts them back possession.

Been doing that all over the park of late. TAA also guilty of speculative crosses from random areas...

Don't listen to Gary Neville. It's all he ****ing went on about in commentary.

Fact is Trent has had loads of success with those crosses from deep. It what the quality of his delivery not the position of delivery that was his main problem the other day.

Aye, De Bruyne tries that ball loads. Trent mixes it up and that's a positive thing.

But Hendo always passes backwards no?
