The more I see that second peno shout for city the more obvious it is that Sterling was intent on kicking the ball against TAAs hand, obviously incited by pep at half time thinking the ref would be happy to give a soft pen in the second half, they only thing I could say is Oliver should have given a free out after the Bernardo hand ball, other than that I don’t think they have much to complain about .

If the ball drops to Aguero and he scores it is ruled out for handball by Silva. Given the goal City had ruled out against Spurs(?) for the slight brush of the arm of Laporte(?) this was a huge ricochet it would be very harsh to give a pen against TAA given that City gained an advantage from Silva's handball in creating the chance. As I said earlier he either gives a freekick of the Silva handball or he gives nothing.

The danger with letting play go on and using VAR to review could be a minefield. If Fabinho's goal was ruled out why would that be? TAA's hand in the buildup, in that case it is a city pen, but that handball took place because of Silva's handball, so are they going to disallow a LFC goal and give a LFC freekick that would be crazy. The refs need to make decisions at the time and not rely on VAR bailing them out.

Also I can't help but feel the agenda has been set here, all the news coverage have shown TAA's handball but not Silva's, for me you can't have one without the other.

Also the second claim is a joke, anyone would be fuming if that were given against them

We look very very like the old LFC sides of the 70's and 80's, we look as though we have the ability to win whatever way it takes. If we have to grind results out we do it, if we have to go on the front foot and attack we can do it. A win for us is almost inexorable in every game

One of the others I quite like was when we scored in the 2nd Dalglish era (against Wolves??). We made tons of passes before scoring a well worked goal

Brilliant game and excellent result. Don't know why City were complaining, they were very good and could have won 4-3 but they were incredibly wasteful. We, on the other hand, were absolutely clinical. Loved the fact that their manager and players were getting more and more irate as the game went on. We really got under their skin.

As for coms, I'm so glad I didn't have to suffer with Sky. Optus Sport had Peter Drury and Jim Beglin. They were great. Drury's enthusiasm for our goals (including the build up play) was brilliant: "Mo Salah, Mo Salah ran in from his wing...and Liverpool have two in the first quarter of an hour"

Cool thanks, I’ll have a little look on YouTube and find out what it is. I like to keep up with the new songs I’m surprised I haven’t seen that one before but if it’s not really ever taken off it might be why.
