    Love that.

Perhaps it's his 'I'd love it we beat them' moment for the season.

    Proper, epic hissy fit.

      I'm still buzzing
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Heh, latest conspiracy on Blue Moon is that VAR wasn't actually working, the officials just pretended it was. Reason being the decisions were made too quick, Oliver didn't put his hand to his ear, Neville knew before the ref...oh, and there was a tweet that suggested it that they choose to believe. God love 'em!

Chelsea haven't played anyone apart from us in the last two months that's partly why they've strung a decent wee run together.
And away to Sheffield Utd which will be a tough place to go

MOTD2 saying the res association say that Silva's handball shouldn't be taken into account when judging TAA's handball.

I can see how you say that one shouldn't influence the other with the way the rules are. But the two can't be taken in isolation: if TAA's is handball then it (the pen) is a chance created by the Silva handball - which means that it City's pen shouldn't be given. For me the ref has two options he either gives nothing (as he did) or he gives us a freekick for the Silva handball.

so if Silva had shoved TAA to the ground and he handled it when falling it would be handball not a foul?

Yeah that given explanation makes no sense.

If Silva’s hand ball results in a goal then apparently it would be disallowed. Surely his hand ball leading to a penalty should result in the same thing?

It’s mad that these sort of rules aren’t set out yet. It’s not that difficult.

The angle of taa's arm being raised looks bad and a defo peno, but i have seen a post showing a slo-mo video of trent moving his arm away and the ball doesnt actually touch his arm, it bounces off the side of his body.
You can clearly see the gap between arm and ball, they never touch each other.

I am assuming that they are trying to say that they are two separate incidents, but they really aren't, they are half a second apart, you can't seperate one from the other Silva's arm plays the ball directly onto TAA's arem they are the same incident. Also it is a richocet which allows the defender a benefit of the doubt.

I think that the referee's decision was right, but the explanation that they are trying to give doesn't help anyone.

That was a great game to watch! Wasn’t too uncomfortable but that’s down to the fact we scored fairly early and got a second soon after! I screamed at the telly when Robbo had the ball - that pass was all too clear and he duly delivered for Salah on a plate!

City had great spells of possession and i think we did get lucky on 2 of their set piece occasions where their runs were not offside! Sterling also missed a header so thats 3 chances missed for them...luck was on our side in terms of chances taken!

We had a few spells where we kept the ball really well and could have scored some well worked goals! We defended magnificently also, solid back 4 and solid covering from the midfield 3. At times i felt we were absolutely gonna smash them a new one & Mane made it 3 after great play & cross from Hendo!

They finished strong but we dealt with it well.

Massive 3 points and a cracking game! Not even half way through this season lool
