Liverpool vs Man City - Premier League (19/20 - Game 12)
Ahhh a voice of neutrality speaks “ LFC were allowed to bully him by Michael Oliver, shoving him in advertising boards and pushing him around to get a reaction. Never thought l'd find myself sticking up for Sterling, but he has every right to stick up for himself, all media out to get him too, not surprised he is getting paranoid”
Certainly the on field treatment of him was no worse than Mo gets every game.
Given City have spent 18 months crying about beer cans hitting a bus window they’ll surely have a zero tolerance policy to violence that caused an injury? Looking forward to seeing their response.
A Premier League player has assaulted a direct rival, admitted it and been punished by his international boss. Why would this not result in a Premier League ban? Or would it be fine for us to send big Virg round to Aguero's house the night before our next game?

At the least he should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute

These posts are straying into Blue Moon levels if silliness.
Blue moon have entire thread dedicated to the Gomez incident. 50 odd pages of paranoia already.
It’s hilarious.
Particularly the struggle to know what to say when Sterling confesses. All conspiracy theories (and they have lots of them) suddenly start to struggle, and thread momentum tails off somewhat.

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
I still can't believe what I'm seeing whenever I see Andy Lonergan walking in with the best team in the world.
I bet he cannot believe his luck
I know a Wolves fan who could not stop laughing when we signed him. Said "that ****ing **** cunt stole a living with us, he's one of the worst keepers in Championship history".
He went to Leeds a couple of years ago when they were Championship rivals with Wolves, and made two terrible blunders for Leeds. Look at some of these tweets from Wolves fans

Why would banning a player for an assault which the player involved in has admitted on his personal social media stemmed from a Premier League game be silly? Asking for a friend.
Edit: Note than Harvey Elliott was banned for posting a video as a young teen mocking a Premier League player.
