Joe is miles off at the moment, obviously I'm very critical of him and think he's massively overrated but put that aside... You've got to play the players that are on form. Lovren deserves his place on form. I love this about Klopp.

Props to Lovren, who played very well indeed.

Lovren's a very decent defender with the odd ****up in him (a little more frequent than it should be) but he's still very good. An older, experienced head is just whats needed in games like this.

He gets an unfair amount of **** in my opinion, and I'm happy to have him in the squad.

What a win, tough game but I thought we deserved the win, clinical. Sky going on like City battered us, we had more shots on target. We purposely dropped deep last 15 which imo is the worst possible way to play against City but we coped well. Everything came down the left side as predicted behind Trent. Hendo did well until he came off, Ox had a mare when he came on so we had to put Joe on to help Trent.

Glorious looking at City's rage, absolutely glorious. We are in a great place but nowhere near done early doors and loads of potential banana skins. Loving us at the moment though and IMO we can go up another gear too. Thought Fab and Mo had great games, Mane worked his ass off too.
