Currently is so, so difficult. Yeah Virge defo up there and Bobby. But we are a proper team and I love them all. Hendo and Trent and Robbo have to have a mention too but I’ve got a chubby on for Millie so it’s a nightmare.

I'm about to turn 47 and I can't remember a time when I didn't support Liverpool (I remember the late 70s team even though I was very young....one of my favourite Christmas presents as a 6 or 7 year old was the Hitachi kit). Anyway, I've never had a favourite player. In fact, back in the day, I always liked the unfashionable players... Terry McDermott, Phil Neal, Ronnie Whelan, Craig Johnston etc but never a favourite.

So many excellent players in there its hard to pick a favourite, each one is made better by the quality of their team mates, and thats were we're at now.
Not a bunch of players with a gerrard or suarez dragging us forwards and making up fr the weak links elsewhere.

We have great players who also happen to be massive personalities so anyone is a genuine candidate. I would pick Fabinho or Mane.

Although I think Fowler, Alonso and Hamann will always be my all time favourites.

Who is my Favorite vs who do I think is the best

Fav - I’ve always loved centre backs or defensive midfielders, the tougher the better. Mascherano in recent times so for me Fabinho is my current fav and he doesn’t even need to be as gnarly as Masch because he is big and rangy.

The best is a different question - the front 3 are superb players but I wonder how good our system makes them. If they left do you think they’d do as well elsewhere? Midfield is similar as our system is designed that they sacrifice themselves for the team and I wonder how effective they’d be elsewhere also. Our defence and GK have been transformational and that stems from VVD, Alisson and the two full backs. Who can we do without the most - VVD, added to that he would improve any side regardless of their style and isn't system dependent........so for me he is our best player
