What are you on about? The ref was ****, that's all anyone has said. And I wrote my concerns about him before the game given his past with us.

We didn't play a bad game, but they did what they needed to do, end of. The moaning in these match threads gets tedious. If the conspiracy theories which some people were pushing were real, then Mane would have got a second yellow for no reason and would have had more fouls against etc. He wasn't good, but that's universal.

Klopp said he hooked Mane because it was very clear they were trying to get him booked again. It was pretty obvious to be fair.

Very, very amateurish. The linesmen were awful too. It was like they were giving some freshies practice of big games. Never seen it this bad and I've watched football under Demento.

Weird feeling getting beaten not used to it, i don't like it!!!!

Positives I take form that game is:

1) No way the standard of officials can be that bad again, utter disgrace.
2) We were too nice against these pigs & we seen first hand what they are like and will be wound up be it. Love to hear Klopps team talk before the game.
3) There is no way so many players will put in such poor displays again, so slow and predictable not like us. Final ball was horrendous too
4) Our fans in Anfield are going to be all over this

They will play exactly the same way and try get goal on break or from set piece. Antics wil be in over drive, we were much too nice last night. We need an early goal against these to get them rattled, nothing can prepare them from the atmosphere at Anfield

He was.. If you are shutting up shop you really need a ref who will turn it into a non contact sport for the opposition.

The one in the first half where Salah put his foot on the ball and the, can't cal him a footballer, faked some sort of electric shock to throw himself on the floor. ****ing hell.

Nothing more telling that klopp subbing our most dangerous player at 1-0 down because of potential cheating and lack of faith in the ref not to buy it.

Atletico did what they do and they were very good, I was a bit concerned that they would put everything into this game, probably not hard to motivate the side for the best team in Europe, the league is gone for them etc.

But I also thought we were a bit poor, like we always are after those ****ing breaks, no rythm and passes were off too, Mane will have a point to prove and we'll hopefully be back rolling by March 11th.

Klopp thought that our build up play, pressing and counter pressing was exceptional. I kind of agree with him as we penned them back for most of the game, but our failing lie in our lack of precision in the final third.
