Apparently there have been some discussions between Icelandic authorites and some English football clubs about them coming over here to train, since we have only had one new case over the last five days. We are opening again effective, and have already ease travel restrictions for sportspeople, scientist, press and other specific groups and tourists will be allowed to travel to us after June 15th.
But everyone coming in will be tested though on the airport. So, hopefully we'll have pre-season here and footy over the summer
* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Nice try but they can **** off, Promotion and relegation are separate issues, if (when) Norwich get relegated it will be because they haven't been good enough over the season, who replaces them in the PL and how they got there has no bearing on that what so ever.
Up until now I had thought Norwich had handled this quite well there weren't stories about them coming out like there were for West Ham, Brighton, Watford etc. I think now I want all the bottom 6 to go down

Expect to hear more from the teams who benefit from the season being voided as we get closer to continue it. So far it's been players mainly, it'll get much dirtier soon once owners and shareholders start wading in

To be honest I am amazed at how many clubs have actually come out and said that this shouldn't happen because it's unfair and would probably result in them being relegated...
If it were me and I wanted to see the season cancelled I think I would have taken a stance on the grounds of safety of players and staff, spoken to some experts and other people who had similar concerns (such as the PFA, LMA etc) and worked that angle. I would have thought that would have been more likely to be successful and even if people saw through the motives they still have to answer the safety questions that you raised. But that probably just suggests that I am a sly conniving ****er

If the league starts up again, who else thinks there will be some strange scores and results? Without fans urging the teams on, will some come back from the jaws of defeat? Will they push for a second goal if coasting? Going to be really weird and I think we could be affected by it. More so if and when next season starts without fans. Klopp builds his teams with the crowd being very much part of the solution. Urging them on to raise the team on.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

That and the fitness levels will be all over the place, training and in game rhythms out the window. Early season you normally get some weird results and it will feel a bit like that I think.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostIf the league starts up again, who else thinks there will be some strange scores and results? Will all depend on who can adapt the quickest and which players are fully onboard with playing again.

I think that there will be, I've seen a couple of the behind closed doors games and they're very odd, it has to have an effect on the players where the games will feel like they have less meaning, particularly to clubs who have little or nothing to play for. If one time is up for it and the other isn't I could see some fairly big scores.

Hence I mention next season being more of an issue.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostWe only need to win two more so we could lose quite a few and scrape through. Really wouldn't bother me as we could put an asterisk next to the losses section
Anyway lets just get this one done.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

City will have a distinct advantage over us as they are used to playing in soulless, silent empty stadia

They can moan and complain as much as they want. The FA have already instructed the PL that title and relegation spots will be decided on the pitch or by sporting merit and ending the season early. Void is, and always was, off the table.Originally posted by Norbs View Post
