I know a number of people here have said that they want us to win it, but I'd be tempted to completely sack off the FA Cup this year, by playing no first team players in any round regardless of who we might come up against. Really could do without those games potentially adding to fixture list when we might need to be rescheduling stuff later in the season.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

They should 100% make the carabao cup semi's single leg neutral venue. At lest free up 1 fixture date for some clubs

I think we have too many decent squad players in need of minutes to sack it off, loads of fringe players who could do with the minutes, problem is how packed the league semis, 2 rounds of FA Cup are next to the time of AFCON so said players will likely be getting league minutes

What's it matter? 100% jabbed won't stop players giving positive tests. As far as I'm aware none of the players providing positive tests are ill ill? It's getting positive tests that is the problem. That's why games are getting postponed. The question should be why are so many premier players getting it? Are they not aware, not taking precautions and possibly some are perhaps a bit thick.

Being fully vaxed significantly reduces the chances of testing positive, no?

None of other those leagues have had any disruption due to to covid so far this season. Coincidence?

Sorry I can't keep up with covid these days. I thought the vaccine gave little protection against not catching covid but dramatically reduced the chances of hospitalation. Either way you'd expect more than 68% to have been double jabbed by now.

This is correct - and Omicron is far more contagious so even mask wearing and social distancing are less effective than it was when Delta was dominant.

It’s hard for anyone to be certain because there is so much conflicting opinion and evidence everywhere. To date though there has been plenty of findings/reports/studies indicating that infection rates/positive cases are far lower in fully vaxed people. Obviously put a big Omicron asterisk next to that now.

Saul has made it onto the bench for the Chelsea game. They must have been really badly hit with COVID
