Fair enough but the discussion is pretty tedious. Will we, won’t we, oh no so let’s all blame Klopp, fsg and moan about it if we’re not playing well. It’s dominating pretty much every thread about lfc. We win last night in one of the best performances of the season and the focus should have been on it rather than signing a centre back. I’ve watched Klopp’s press conference earlier and he looked pretty bored of talking about it himself.

To be fair when it is a match that saw us lose our only fit senior CB yet again along with seeing our only stand in CB of genuine quality (as well as him being our best CDM) get an injury in the build up to the game, then talk will turn to the cost of the game as well as what we gained from the good performance.

Title is gone now, max number of points we can get is 88 if we win our remaining 16 games. I said at the start of the season probably looking at 85 points needed to win it, that would require us to drop no more than 3 points for the rest of the season which won't happen. City's current form suggests the could go on a huge winning run and get 90+ points (they can still get 98).

We are playing poorly or at least inconsistently, we are playing for a top 4 spot. We need to get the new defenders settled in and get Henderson back in midfield get the tempo up start creating chances and scoring goals.

Remember when we used to tear out of the blocks and blow teams away early? It's become a pattern for us now to have 0 shots in the first 20 minutes, sometimes the first half.
