I've said before I think this year it will probably be won with mid to high 80's points total. I think that other teams are improving and the lack of crowds will affect the players performance maybe not at first but I imagine more as the season goes on. We might get some fans back in grounds sometime in 2021 but we aren't going to have grounds even close to capacity this season.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'm not so sure. The likes of Bayern and Madrid have dominated since the restart and I wonder if it's because when you have that type of world class player, they are just totally focused on the job and have that unbridled will to win that lesser players don't have, so are less distracted by the empty stadiums.

Even City last night, first game, empty stadium, but they were excellent first half. I was hoping the late start and lack of atmosphere would catch them sleeping.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I get that, but it's not even October yet Redreet, let's see how consistent everyone is a bit further into the season.

I meant last year. Did Madrid And Bayern not basically win all their matches after restart and didn't results generally favour the bigger teams more than usual?

I could be wrong, I didn't have much interest after Covid, but I'm sure when I was doing some reading towards the European finals, I was surprised at the form of some clubs.

I imagine that there is a big difference in doing it for 6-8weeks or so and trying to make your previous hard work count, compared to starting from scratch and keeping motivation levels going for a full 9 months.
