Robbo Jota and Mo can hold their head high. The rest of the lads were abysmal, subs were abysmal. Never seen anything like it. A few things I take from this freak occurrence which is it was a freak result and 3 deflections but here's my tuppence:

1. Gomez is not the CB to partner Virgil. I know Virgil has been poor but Joe makes so many mistakes and his pace gets him out of his poor positional sense. Cannot rely on him or Matips fitness. Surprised we haven't got another CB to be honest.

2. Bobby needs to be dropped, been well below par since the start of the year. His finishing is dreadful and his touch and passing is way off. He's just way off form,too many excuses being made for him.

3. Adrian cannot be relied upon, sell. Riddled with mistakes and completely unsettles the defence.

4. Keita is not good enough to start for us, passenger.

Only thing about point 2 is that I think Bobby is pivotal to the way we play and we don't have anyone near good enough to replace him. Which means we have to change things up quite significantly. He doesn't look right to me though.

We've had defensive issues since the restart, hopefully this performance convinces Klopp, the coaching team and the players that this is something that needs serious work to address.

Klopp has arguably his toughest job to get results with no keeper and one centre back over the next few months.

Our defence have been dire, but to be honest the forward line hasn't been a cohesive unit for a while, a decent number of goals have come from individual play. I am a massive fan of Bobby, but for much of the last 6 months or so something hasn't been right with him and I'm not just talking about his lack of goals.

Yeah, you cant blame him entirely, but at key moments he could have kept us hanging in dont recall which goal (the twelveteenth maybe) but it was a simple cross for him to cut out.

Look at Alisson last week against Lacazette. Big chance makes the save and we go on to win.

Mindset seemed wrong from KO today also. Maybe with City being so far behind and Utd getting pumped we thought we just had to turn up? Attitude was awful.
