Also, 433 is very demanding for the midfield as they’ve got to shift sideways a lot. Against City it’s harder. 442, whether it’s a diamond or a more traditional formation, allows us to cover defensive areas better. Whether that works we’ll see pretty soon.

It's a difficult game regardless.Originally posted by RedReet View PostThink Carra makes a fair point, we've lost last 3 times here with full strength 433, so why not try something different.
My worry is if they beat the press it's going to be a nightmare for Henderson and Wijnaldum. It also means we don't have much to come on if things aren't going well in the final 20 minutes.
I think the big defeats after project restart might mean Klopp things "**** it, let's try and blitz them".Vive la France

It’s going to be more defensive than you think IMO.Are we winning?

Bobby as the advanced midfielder will allow us an option of playing through the middle easier and unlocking their defence when they sit back.
I have been hoping for this change for ages as it plays to firmino's strengths.
They won't know if we're coming down the flank or straight through them.
Bobby coming in late for the second balls, it sounds ace
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Not sure if it makes a massive difference tactically in all honesty. We've been playing with Jones for the last few matches, obviously Bobby will be higher up the pitch than Jones operated but it's not like Jones offered a huge amount defensively.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostIt's a difficult game regardless.

Our other options weren't obvious for me. Naby has just come back to fitness, Jones for me is a bit inexperienced for this fixture and Milner hasn't been the best lately.

Super sub Origi, genius Shaq, Keita and Jones for midfield.
City have Foden and an out of form Silva. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

We know it's live you ****ing clown.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
