Was funny in the post interview, mourinho was trying to down play Spurs title creds and the interviewer mentioned that many of his players were recent champs league finalists. Mourinho was clearly riled by this and said only 5 were there and this was now a completely different team.
I just checked and 8 of the Spurs players who played tonight also played in their champs league final defeat. Different team my arse, what a ****

I used to think he was a **** but not anymore. It's just that he's doesn't like to lose and he's a sore one at that. To be fair to him, his tactical plan nearly paid off and they had the better chances. They were by no means the better team as we battered them, but that was his game plan and it relies so much on his team to get a result. Are we winning?

He makes me laugh now, I just don't rise to his bait like I used to. He's got more Trumpian as his success has waned, and that makes it even funnier. His post match tonight was laugh out loud funny.Last edited by Shaggy; 17-12-20, 12:48 AM.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Hmm not sure they had the better chances. They had one off the post but so did we, what else was there? How many decent saves did Alisson have to make? Lloris did two or three and should have been much more if we’d remembered to bring our shooting boots. Must have fired about 4 or 5 decent chances straight at their keeper.Originally posted by Fredo View PostI used to think he was a **** but not anymore. Other than a coupe of 5 min spells, we totally bossed themLast edited by rudedog; 17-12-20, 12:53 AM.

Salah must have tapped the ball to Lloris about ten times alone. What a wasterOriginally posted by rudedog View PostHmm not sure they had the better chances. removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Bergwijn missed a sitter start of second half, then hit the post and then Kane missed a clear header from a corner. We had Sadio's chance when he hit the bar and a few half chances and Salah's goal was a bit lucky I thought. Bobby's goal was a fantastic goal from a not so obvious position.Originally posted by rudedog View PostHmm not sure they had the better chances. Don't get me wrong, it looks as though they deserved to win the way I say it haha.
We totally battered them and deserved it.
Are we winning?

Nah, I don’t class players missing/fluffing chances as being ‘good chances’ so I’m only counting the Bergwjin one that hit the post. Kane’s header was comically ****Originally posted by Fredo View PostBergwijn missed a sitter start of second half, then hit the post and then Kane missed a clear header from a corner. Bobby had a header and shot saved first half. Mo had about three or four. Sadio hit the bar.Originally posted by Fredo View PostYeah I forgot Mo's chance but that wasn't as obvious a chance than the 3 Spurs chances I think. Anyway, who cares.
Stats wise. We had 17 shots 11 on target they had 8 and 2 on target.
Mourinho just tries to skew the narrative. Bergwijn missed from wide when in on goal so did Salah. Kane missed his header Bobby scored his
both hit the woodwork. So that’s pretty much the same but then outside that we had way more chances than them.
Well done Spurs winners of the ‘played a bit better second half at Anfield’ trophy.Last edited by Buzzo; 17-12-20, 01:08 AM.Modifying post.
