Fatigue I reckon. We looked knackered vs Fulham. Fulham were on it after a weeks rest. I’m sure it was pointed out that we had played ten more games than them.

Over the next couple of months all teams have a heavy schedule so extra rest won’t benefit the teams at the bottom.
    Modifying post.

Palace have also played three games in a week so they'll be struggling too. Another absolute must win (Spurs have a tricky one v Leicester), then West Brom at home. Spurs have Wolves away on the 27th. We can start to pull away a bit like we did last Christmas.

They were by no means the better team as we battered them, but that was his game plan and it relies so much on his team to get a result.
**** that mate he's a complete bellend. He shows no respect for any other team plus he's a horrible cunt so he can get ****ed. I hope we hammer them at their place.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

We have a week’s rest after the Palace game I think as it’s league cup week.
          Are we winning?

Yeah, we play Palace 12:30 on Sat then our next game is West Brom on the 27th.

Possibly our longest gap between games so far this season?

Citeh, Man U, Spurs etc are all playing in quarter final of the league cup that midweek

Yeah it must be, it’s just those specific areas and the cavernous disparity I struggle to get my head around.

I’m not denying the effect of tiredness btw- the amount of infuriating conversations I have to have with some mates - “How can they be tired, they’re on £100K+ for working 3 hours a week?”, “I used to be out every Saturday until 5am. Coupla paracetamols and I’d be up & running Sunday morning. Never caught me moaning- just run it off on the field.” Etc.
              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

It was horrible getting knocked out by Arsenal but so ****ing glad we're out now.

Also, 4 points lost vs Brighton and I Everton would have made it 7 points clear at the top. With that context in mind we’re not doing too badly despite a few insipid away performances. We had these a lot last year as well but won games.

WE need that kind of temp in our play against Palace too - they won't have any fans - let's get after them. It looks as if Midgetland and Fulham were about having a breather before Xmas...

Getting knocked out of that was definately a good thing. I'm going to come out and say it but I think going out of the FA Cup early would be another good thing.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Agreed. Don't care about it. If we had a fully fit squad it would be great to go for all three, but we don't so let's **** it off and focus on the two that really matter.

My thoughts exactly, this season with the condensed schedule and so many injuries it's about priorities and the FA Cup is a distant 3rd.

Couldn't care less about the FA Cup at this moment in time. Glad we got a 'hard' draw against Villa. No shame in putting a bunch of kids out against them and loosing by 3 or 4.
