Fatigue I reckon. We looked knackered vs Fulham. Fulham were on it after a weeks rest. I’m sure it was pointed out that we had played ten more games than them.

Over the next couple of months all teams have a heavy schedule so extra rest won’t benefit the teams at the bottom.

Fatigue, torrential rain, different pitch type, all leading to underhit passes and heavier legs, which on top of the midweek game probably all added up to a team not feeling 100%...happened to all the other teams in our league that had a midweek game.

Always annoys me when, say, a team misses three chances in the first 5 minutes and the commentator goes "they could be 3-0 up by now". Er, the other chances don't necessarily happen if the first goes in,

I think it’s about time that a commentator says “they could be 3-0 up” after a team misses just one chance....

Because if they had scored it, the game would have developed differently and they might have created and scored another two...

Heard some pundit make this point last night too, can’t remember who... it’s such a silly logic- may as well say we’re lucky it wasn’t Messi...

Our defense was focused on stopping Kane and Son- I’d say a big part of the reason why bergwijn got so much space was cos we were focused on Son.. can’t really remember the build up for the second one, but for the first, as the ball comes towards son, 2 of our players go to him and he heads it through to bergwijn- if it had been the other way round, I don’t think 2 players would go to bergwijn and leave son on his own.
