It shouldn't have needed changing. They are absolute garbage and gave us the ball unchallenged for at least an hour. We had a strong side but couldn't break them down because we were slow, sloppy, lazy and made mistakes.

So again I ask, how is this Klopp's fault? What could he have done better?

Stick your mince pie up your backside. He was crap all game and gave the ball away showboating which led to their goal. There are better players than him sat on the bench so it’s a no brainier.

He made a mistake yes, but assuming the reason is his 'arrogance' is unfair on a 19 yr old.

Their goal should have been checked by VAR for the foul not just for offside & overturned accordingly.

That last points we have dropped in the league since the City game have been against West Brom, Fulham & Brighton. In those 3 games we struggled to create real chances. We desperately miss a pass master to unlock deep lying defences. These teams push us out wide, pack the box and without VVD & Matip there we don't have a huge aerial threat so they can deal with us with ease. One thing is sure for me, we need to take more shots outside the box, let a few go ffs not everything has to go wide all the time.

Waited too long to make a sub imo, needed to change up the tactics too, it was pretty aimless stuff to be fair. He said in his interview that everything was too slow and the movement wasn't good but waited until the 82nd min before making a sub and bringing Ox on. Slow, predictable, no ideas and a complete lack of urgency all round. I don't criticise Klopp often but imo he waited too long to do something.

Obviously Klopp can't make the players play better but if they aren't playing well and things are not working, change it up no? Brom, Fulham and Brighton we have dropped points in the league to in the league and all employed the same tactics against us, be compact, push us wide and defend the box from crosses as we are missing our aerial threat in VVD and Matip. It's a bad trend, against poor opponents that we need to break. Say what you want about the fat cunt Allardyce but he was perfectly happy going in at the break at 1 nil still in the game, their tactics were spot on and they opened up more in the 2nd half, that goal was coming. Brom had more shots on target than us, Fulham had nearly the same amount of shots on target vs us & Brighton had more shots on target vs us. There is a way to play against us that is effective and we need to find a way to fix it. We have been using the long diagonal all season to get behind teams (Hendo in particular) or using the wide men to get crosses in, those tactics don't seem to be as effective against teams that sit with a low block and use the big men to mop up in the area and we have struggled this season against those tactics.
