I think its absolutely insane to think we'll win the league this year. We won nothing until we brought in a decent keeper and VVD, now people are expecting us to win the league against City with makeshift centerbacks of either kids or midfielders.



This hurts, but I think some people should really accept the reality of the situation this year. CL will be even worse.

It’s not insane at all to think that the current champions can still win the league. It’s not the defence which is the issue at the moment so that gives me belief that we’re gonna turn this around.

Assuming both Manchester teams win all of their games in hand the absolute worst we will be is three points of the top, level on games played.

It’s not an unworkable position. And no team is looking like putting together a ten plus game winning streak. Every team will have a bad spell, this is ours. Do we have the quality to get out of it? Of course we do.

Now we’re being written off, while still sitting top of the league.
