Our only win since Chelsea was against Palace in the league and I haven't looked back to end of previous season, but the record wouldn't be too far off I guess as I remember our away form was a bit ropey end of last season.
Cant be that bad, we nearly broke the wins in a row record twice back to back with only the Man U draw in between it. Post lockdown we lost away to City and (somehow) Arsenal.

Cos that will be his CB pairing against United I imagine, so he wants to give Hendo some time to get to grips with it?

We are too nice we don't protest enough, players should be berating the refs now at this stage. There's just too many decisions going against us. When we were winning you can get over it, when your losing and dropping points it's hard not to take that **** personally.

But since project restart it feels like players are allowed to swing off our lads necks but we can't go within a yard of them
Somewhat out there, but I sometimes think it's our overwhelming possession that adds to it at times.
We ponce about with the ball back and forth, the opposition seem allowed to hassle to breaking point and beyond...we momentarily lose the ball and the smallest infringement against the 'struggling' opponent is pounced on, only for us to feel picked on with our arm flailing and whinging etc

          We're too ****ing nice

The twitter comment from Greenstein is daft. If that was on the line it'd be a penalty regardless how far away the attacking player was. That was absolutely nailed on, the player saved it ffs

I thought Sadio's workrate was immense today. He was the one most likely to score for us. Clearly not as his best but nearly made his effort count.

Bobby worked his socks off but things never happened to him, ball hitting his knees and not falling for him. Mo was hardly in the game but I think it's due to Trent being so poor on the right and passes never fell to him properly.

We totally dominated the ball second half and should have made the most of that possession especially in that 15 minutes period at the start when we were outstanding. We need to replicate this level for 90 minutes. With Thiago getting more games we will improve. Just a shame we're missing our first choice central defence we cannot fully rotate without a big drop off in quality at the moment.

That’s the positive take. Doesn’t take much to put this right, and perhaps a game v Man U is just what we need.

Paul Ince came across as a decent chap tonight I thought.

5 bookings in last 2 games, against 5 bookings since the start of the season!!! the players seem disjointed at present & rash/desperate in their decision making.

Also i dont get the Taki thing, starts in a 7-0 walloping & then 3 games since not a minute on the pitch ?? its just bizarre TBH

And as the reply notes, they got a freekick because their keeper jumped in to his own player.

I wouldn't read too much into bookings yesterday, the referee was awful.

I was thinking the same about Minamino, odd that he hasn't been brought on given the game situations we've been in.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Mentally some players need a bit of a rest. We’ve been forcing the play way too much lately and our composed possession game away from home has been replaced by hectic play and not too much control. First half yesterday was case in point and second half, while we were good in possession, I felt we were forcing it too much. We used to be calm and composed and that’s gone since the Spurs game.

Since Matip went off mid game vs Weat Brom we’ve been out of sorts. Maybe it’s the lack of continuity and the changing of personnel that is not helping the confidence and the decision making. Don’t think it’s an easy thing to pinpoint. Only way is to try and play your way out of it and try to relax a bit in games I guess.

We’ve let ourselves in a situation when the players think they need to force it now, as potentially we could be second by the time United come to us. If we’re not careful, that point gap could be 6 points soon.
