I kind of agree, but it was Tiago last week. Apart from VVD I don't think it's a personnel issue, it's desire, willingness to make runs into space, confidence to shoot, intensity at kick off, it's all wrong. We let them score after 2 mins because of a lack of concentration (and a quality finish), crossed whenever we should have shot, crossed when we should have held it up, lost most 50/50 situations, the same as previous games. Alison's suicide run out late on too. Our judgement and decision making is in chaos. As poor results continue, confidence drops further and everything becomes yet more difficult.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostThe player that we really miss is Jota.
This possibly could (don't think it will) spiral pretty quickly, particularly if utd do us. The players have gone from thinking they were practically unbeatable to knowing the next game will be a struggle. Klopp is a master psychologist, and when you look at the end of Klopp at Dortmund, things turned to **** very quickly and severely, probably because the players stopped believing the manager when he told them they were capable of anything. Confidence can be a fragile thing.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Bin off the Villa FA Cup game, give the players a few days off get these performances out of their system and then come back fired up for the Man Utd game with a fresh perspective. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The intensity from the kick off is so true - lately you can tell within seconds how it's going to play out. Today someone (Trent?) immediately sliced it out of touch and we were all over the place. Something deeper than personnel has become an issue, and tbh I have no idea what it is.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostI kind of agree, but it was Tiago last week. Lets be honest here. With our front 3 not performing and our makeshift back 4 not performing (with no return of VVD or Gomez likely, and Matip being Matip), we're not winning anything this season. Thats the cold hard truth.
I really do think theres a massive problem between Salah and Mane whicn needs to be addressed in tne summer too, with one of them probably heading off.Glass half empty club

We did much better in the second half by getting into good positions but ultimately making a bad decision. The one thing that nobody is saying is that we were screwed by bad officials again - I thought we should’ve had 2 pens and now I can see that was the case. What is the ****ing point of VAR

For me it's actually Klopp. He's still a great coach, not saying he isn't. But he used to be so happy. These days he's bristling and frustrated and that energy definitely gets absorbed by the team. They need a time out to get their heads right. Once he addresses that and they start having fun again, we'll start winning games. And 100% for me Mane and Salah is a problem. Keep seeing mane working his nuts off, passing to Salah, and then Salah ****ing up the return or taking it on himself.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostThe intensity from the kick off is so true - lately you can tell within seconds how it's going to play out.
