    So my takeaways

    - Thiago doesn’t position himself half as well as Henderson does - yet.
    - Trent is suffering from his worst slump since becoming a 1st teamed.
    - ox only suits games where there’s space to work in. He was garbage tonight.
    - bloody hell we are missing VVD.

      "Unbeaten record is gone"

      What record ?

The last few seasons against Southampton ?

Might be good to have the distraction of the FA Cup this week. See what Utd can do with the favourites tag. Regroup and go again. I’m not giving up on this group of players.
So true! The quicker Jota is back the better! At the moment Mane, Salah and Firmino can't finish for ****. It's very worrying!

Is anyone surprised by that? The only result that’s surprised me of late is the Palace one tbh.
          3rd place. Worst champions ever.

              Ings is a good lad.

Just unfortunate he wasn't doing his usual straight at the keeper tonight

We seem to have been forced out wide and resort to throwing crosses into the box, I can't help but wonder if an out and out striker in the box would be useful in these situations

Southampton and their manager on their knees second half. Not happening in front for us at the moment and not for the lack of trying. We are forcing it way too much and I don’t think we are thinking clearly at times. First time in three years we’re in a bit of a rough patch. We’re too good not to get out of this and hopefully it’ll be against United.
                  Are we winning?

I feel we might see a passive aggressive Jurgen interview coming up.

I've said it a few times over the last few games but for all the injury problems at the back that isn't what is costing us it's the goal threat - we really don't have one.

I don't want to have a go at Robbo as he's been brilliant this year, he's been terribly negative with his play the last few games, constantly going sideways and backwards. And ****ing hell, just have a go at goal man, drives me ****ing up the wall!! Just ****ing **** it! You don't have to pass it to a striker every ****ing time, you've got a great left foot just having a shot lad!

Was just chatting to my son.

Told him, “to be fair this is our first dodgy period for about three years, this is a bit more what it can be like”.

                          He said, “this is rubbish”

And it’s true, supporting a team can be difficult. We’ve had it sooo good for a few years now. We just need to dig in. It wasn’t a great performance but we got into many, many situations where we normally deliver.

Dust ourselves down. Go again. Maybe tweak the formation?

... and buy a centre back.

Utd will come at us, that should leave more space at the back.

As bad as this slump is let's not all **** the bed immediately. This is a weird season for everyone. We are still right in it. I'm sure Klopp will steer us in the right direction soon

If ****ing Tierney is creating goals for his right foot, I expect more from Robbo

Seems the issue is away from home. 1 win in 15 games is not good enough. Not too sure why it’s the case maybe the fact we’re champions and teams are desperate to beat us and we’re not 100% all the time.
