I dont get why we dont shoot from distance. Plenty of our players can do that. All the teams we face pack the box and make sure we cant pass it through, just shoot and try to create something from a good hit or a rebound. Other teams do it all the time.

I think you're wrong. If they had space they'd still score. It's the same tactics being deployed against us and we're playing with the ball virtually entirely in the oppos half so they know they'll get a counter or two.

Our perceived slowness is because our midfielders are struggling to see a pass. Full backs are playing with the opposition in front of them and are not getting the space to run in to.

That’s just a lot of generalising and not sure there’s even much truth in some of it.

Trent’s creativity has fallen off a cliff. Bobby, Mane and Salah aren’t creating many quality chances either and even when they do get good opportunities to score, they’re fluffing them.

Our main goals scorers/creators are badly off form. They’re not on it, they’re making bad decisions and they’re not executing passes/finishes like they usually do.

And it’s not because the opposition have ‘found us out’, they’re playing the same way teams have been against us for the past 3 seasons now.

Klopp out is ludicrous, and it even feels a bit daft to suggest we need an overhaul after bad run of just five games, but I'm starting to think we need to change something and if so I'd start with the front three. Upgrade on Firmino and work back from there.

The front 3 haven't been good enough. But what have we created as a team?

We've been badly spoiled and, while I totally understand individuals have to do whatever they need to do, I'll be sticking in there.

We've seen a lot worse than this. If someone had told us, say, 4 years ago, that you're gonna have an incredible run to a CL final, then win the CL the year after, and win the league the year after that only for it all to go to **** the following year, I'd have snapped their hand off. We all would've done. Just gonna try and brush it off and pretend it doesn't matter. It's a bull**** asterisk season anyway.

I think that’s the perspective. We probably will not win the League. Well, we’ve not won the Leagie for plenty of years. Looks like the players are crashing. They’ve all been on World class for for 2.5 seasons. Sort of feels inevitable.

Where do we go from here. No idea. Maybe start fighting for top 4 and tell the players to forget about winning the League.

We had our best spell of the game after they came on for 10 mins we put a lot of pressure. Didn’t last though which is why I think it’s a lack of belief at the moment .

This is the right attitude but for sure I will pass on the Cup game and hopefully I will be chomping at the bit for the Spurs game. These recent weeks have been torture and compounded by ****ing United and Everton being above and around us

We tried loads, especially Shaq, but they all got blocked.

No spontaneity in our shooting, especially from shaq.
Far too easy for Burnleys well drilled defence to block us out.

My other abstract theory on what is going wrong is that we’ve also been **** since we left Melwood. Footballers are superstitious creatures of habit.

Take an entire squad and give it a new routine? Has too have some effect? Or am I going mad?
