Well saidOriginally posted by Norbs View PostI don't think there's anything to be ashamed of to be labelled found out, it just means we need to find another approach. The density our opponents seem to be able to cram their box with doesn't seem to happen to anyone else and I think we make it easy for them by building too slowly
I do think the severity of the issue is being magnified due to the general frustration we are all feeling with lockdown. I personally have not been doing my exercise since New Year and I think getting back into that will help me clear my head, release some of the tension and look at it more objectively.
Back to the game, we got ****ed over by the ref last season and drew 1-1. We got ****ed over again for the pen and we lost 1 nil. The margins aren’t that much different to last season. As I said before, there’s no need to over-blow it.

Nothing much TBH.......just his face bugging me.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostWhat's he saying? I turned it off right on the whistle.
Just the usual nonsense about coming to win, well-organised, nothing to report about the HT thing, just two managers wanting their teams to win etc
Can't blame him I suppose"I will make the boys feel your support"

Everything is massively disappointing this year, and it probably is because of the contrast with what we've had before. They look ****ed, mentally and physically - that squad has had everything wrung out of it for coming up to four years - it might be that this cycle is over and a new approach is needed.
Not sure Thiago was the right choice though, he is 29 and though he looks imperious when his head is up and he isn't under pressure, we aren't getting that this season. I wonder if there was a £30m central defence option available in the summer window, I think we'd have been better off.

Injuries have ruined our season, but so has a complete lack of a plan b. Teams know how aggressive we are (were) and how quickly we can break. And seems like every team we've played for the past 3 months have learned how to completely nullify us
There has to be changes madeI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

I just don’t think that’s the case. As I say, I don’t see teams doing any different against us. It much more us not doing things we’ve been so good at the last few years.Originally posted by Norbs View PostI don't think there's anything to be ashamed of to be labelled found out, it just means we need to find another approach. [QUOTE=Pepe79;3686973]A combination of this team running through walls for the past 3 years, and then the injuries and punishing schedule of this season coming right on the back of that.
There was aways going to be a drop off after 97 points, a European Cup and then 99 points. The circumstances this season has exacerbated it.[/QUOTE)
this 100%, no crowd ****s us, as much as its hearsay, a crowd Vs WBA, Mancs, Burnley would have yielded more points. without facts, that is a fact !!!

I think it will depend on how achievable he thinks that is, maybe in the context of whatever constrains are put on his ability to try.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI can't see it. I think he'd want to right the wrong and get us back to where we should be.Last edited by Kenneth; 21-01-21, 11:46 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

My biggest dissatisfaction with potentially not winning the league this year is we were robbed of the chance to properly celebrate last season’s win. We go again against Spurs, all is not lost yet, imo this season hinges on keeping Matip fit until Virgil is back, big ask but if we can manage it, we will be knocking on the door come May.

Liverpool vs Burnley - Premier League (20/21 - Game 19)
It’s our first slump for 3 years. Actually, for 15 years (we haven’t drawn blanks for 4 games since 2005 or 2006 I read somewhere). It’s a bit of a freakish situation, especially happening to arguably the greatest Liverpool team for 30 years. Are we winning?

Can't stand him, same kind of cringe from the Fury fight clan camp. Could imagine him being Tyson or Hughie's cousin who is a plain mouthy cunt and just on the payroll because he's family. That's how I always imagine him anyway.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI hate him anyway. Cunt.
