That's tripe mate, the team builds from the back. Remember how every time a team lumped the ball out last season it was swept up by either virgil or Joe and put the pressure back on? It's a bit of a mess there at the moment. Everyone is being stretched into different positions this year.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

This is true but it doesn't explain horrible displays most part of the season from Trent Bobby and Mane, Robbo and Gini in recent months nowhere near themselves. Thiago has not made a difference whatsoever either. Those are players fit and available and should be enough to put away Brom Fulham Burnley Brighton Newcastle. We've simply just been poorOriginally posted by Venton View PostIt's what happens when your system breaks down quickly. These clubs are organised now. City found this last year.

The back four have not been solid enough for our system, genuinely. It goes through the whole team. If you're going to press high everyone needs to know what they're doing all the time.Originally posted by Assassin View PostNot buying into this. Midfield and attack are totally inaffective. I missed Mane off this list.
That’s about £400m plus worth of talent. If anyone wants to think that’s not a factor then fair enough.
That’ll do me for tonight.

Why is top 4 a stretch?
Are we back to Klopp walking away and the dynasty is over again FFS?
Alisson
Van Dijk
Gomez
Fabinho
Matip
Jota
Keita
All missing.
Hendo

Klopp's system is a proper system, it relies on the whole team being drilled. It's all off kilter at the moment. I know what you're saying but we're not a free flowing team relying on everyone doing what they want.Originally posted by danperkins View PostThis is true but it doesn't explain horrible displays most part of the season from Trent Bobby and Mane, Robbo and Gini in recent months nowhere near themselves. absolutely, it does feel that once a cog is missing from the 11 never might 5 or 6, things start to break down. Imo though there should be a plan B and we still have enough top class players to put likes of Brighton etc away. The lads just haven't played well most of the season. Since we win the league there has been a general drop off.
We do look stale

We were 100% ****e tonight. But there are plenty of mitigating factors.Originally posted by Venton View PostKlopp's system is a proper system, it relies on the whole team being drilled. Of course injuries have ****ed us. 100%.
But whatever team we put out should be able to score or test the keeper against the likes of Brighton and Burnley. We are doing the same **** every home game.
Klopp needs to change the system to try and get something out of what we have left. Playing Gini & Milner at home? It's like when he used to play hendo, milner and gini. It's dull, uninspiring and safe.
To be fair his options look few but letting taki go? Bloke started against Palace and scored. Then didn't get a kick. What the actual ****? It's bizarre.
It's embarrassing.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde
