yup it does seem across the board. I understand rising operating costs etc but some businesses are just jumping on the bandwagon. Madness

They built a hotel where Break for the Border was. Remeber going there back in the day, every wanted to go down to the club whereas I used to stay upstairs and listen to all the 80s music ... dunno what that says about me

Jesus I had many a 6am finish in Coppers "VIP" section. We used to just go there to try pull women, turns out every other bloke had the same idea and it ended up just always full of dudes

The difference per pint of Guinness between The Temple Bar and another famous pub called The Foggy Dew which is a stones throw away was about €2.80. Absolutely scandalous, The Temple Bar's excuse was they have live music on throughout the day, that's how they try justify their prices. Atmosphere is unreal in there in fairness, stags and hens come in have one drink and realise how expensive it is a they leg it. In Dublin City Centre outside of temple Bar I reckon the average price for a pint is about €5.20 - €5.40.
