Given our run of wins and the amount of points we will finish with you can't think like that. We will post a more than acceptable points total.

City have had plenty of shockers also.

I make it 17 points dropped in games were we scored 2 or more, I doubt any champion has dropped that many.

You just have to hope they City will regret missing the chance to kill us off. They had the chance to all but secure the title and they couldn't see it through.

Seen this said a lot in the media and on forums since yesterday.

We do not need to be perfect, we just need to get a point more than they do and then we can win it on GD.

As for it being an easier run in, well that is only on paper.

Take Brighton for example. I'm sure Arsenal fans saw Brighton as three points on paper, hell I am sure plenty of us thought the same before we played Brighton a while back.

True, but City beat them 4-1 at their place. There’s a chance, however small, of either of us dropping points in any one of the remaining games, but those odds are definitely against us. Doesn’t mean you can’t win it if you’re in it.

15 points dropped in such games.

Another way to look at it is that over the course of the last 10 games we have won 9 and drawn one, so two points droppped from the last 30 so we are very much in form.

City over the course of the last 10 games have won 6, drawn 3 and lost 1. Seven points dropped from the last 30. So by their standards they have been wobbling after their long run of wins prior to that. And as for the so called easy games, Both Southampton and Crystal Palace had taken points from City over he past ten games.

On current form City are the team that need to improve their current run of PPG more than we do.

They are not this all conquering team that does not slip up,if they were they would not be only a single point ahead of us. Yes they are the either the best or second best team in the league this season, us being the other one, but they are as prone to dropping the odd point here and there during a wobbly spell as we are during one and current form shows them to be in more of a wobbly spell than we are.

They go and bang out 7 wins on the spin, then fair dues but I think they have a stumble in them. Have a feeling they have a loss in them and that we have a draw coming up for us.

TRhough I do wish they had yet to meet a team that they stumbled against earlier in the season as they have a weird habit of dropping points twice against the same team. They have done that eight times in the league this season.

              Us home & Away
              Palace home & away
              Spurs home & away
              Southampton home & away.

The plus side is that no other team that City face will allow them so much space, they will all be 10 men defences and City will have to break then down the hard way, and hopefully one of those teams will have a fortuitous day with a blessed goal line. All we can do is try to win our games and keep the pressure on.

Cheers for the maths lesson Jaco

That's true but Arsenal are no City and City know how to see out a season. Fact remains that it is in their hands and we know they are capable of winning all of their remaining games, as are we. Not saying they will but we are looking for them to slip up & we can't give them any opportunity to widen that gap. I didn't think we would claw things back to 1 point to be honest so this is a bonus for me. Anything can happen though, with both teams challenging on several fronts lapses in concentration and fatigue will kick in.

Another way to look at that is we also beat Brighton at their ground yet they held us at Anfield.

Yep Arsenal are no City, but Liverpool are a match for City and Brighton held us to a draw at Anfield so they do have it in their locker to hang with the very best on their day. Let's hope they have one of those days again.

And you are welcome, I do like to help the numerically challenged

Other highlights being the M1 leaving Dublin, the N7/M7 leaving Dublin and the M4 leaving Dublin

She's gone home, was just a quick weekend visit. She wanted to go to Temple bar and I obliged

Face on her when she went up to buy a round in The Temple Bar. I said "I told you"

She loved it, loved the atmosphere had a blast. It's always exhausting having visitors went to bed at 8.30pm last night

Temple Bar? What are you a tourist?

But speaking of Temble Bar and over priced things in that area....Is that abomination Break For The Border still in business? Got dragged in there years and years back and am still scarred by the experience. Super bar my arse it was all line dancing **** wits and me without a chansaw. Was up there with Coppers for in terms of **** Dublin spots that someone says "ahh come on it will be fun" and then you go there and within seconds you are in full on Ron Swanson mode with the locals.
