Yip I think so. Would be handy if Divock could get himself available although a Bobby, Taki, Jota front 3 will probably start

We will probs use these to blood Mbappe?

I'm hoping Gordon can make an impact at some point.

Classic cowardice from Rodgers - strongest line up in the cup when he thought he’d beat our kids. Plays the reserves away to City then ffs

They do have some injuries but it's ridiculous.

As is Crystal Palace. Wanted to call off the Spurs game and they put out a first team. Clubs are definitely at it.

BBC reporting players can leave for ACN on the 3rd Jan, so after the Chelsea game.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                That's probably that then.

Side note.. The league Cup semi is 2 legs!? That's hilarious.

Yep, the EFL said they would lose £20m in sponsorships if it didn't go ahead.

I’m sure the four semi finalists could pass a hat around to cover it.

I thought the same. Either player welfare is paramount or it isn't. It'd be far more interesting if all four withdrew though

I must admit, I have no sympathy for footballers at all. Even Henderson was moaning about player welfare (lack of). They have the very best healthcare there is, get paid an obscene amount and will be retired by 35, living a life of absolute luxury.

In the real world, I haven't stopped since COVID, 12 hour shifts, 25,000 steps, days, nights, 2 days off over Xmas and 25 days holidays, a **** pension and probably 25% of Salahs weekly salary a year.

I've got it a lot better than a lot of people too. The problem is that too many people entertain these footballers and don't call them out.
Moaning feckers, get on with it!

I'm not moaning though, just giving a real world example of life outside their bubble. They're just out of touch with reality

Yeah, I'm not saying I agree but their welfare is the defence thats being offered up by managers constantly. Time for them to act accordingly.

It'd be lovely if us, Chelsea and Arsenal withdrew and Spurs were left with the decision to win by default and forever be reminded of it, or to accept the trophy and suck it up

But are you consistently the one of the best in the world at doing your job, and are those working conditions conducive to performing at the very peak of performance?
