I’ll take any sort of omens you can offer up!

Not wanting to poop on the stat but we didn't beat Wolves on the last day. The home victory v Wolves was in December.

However, our second strip in 80/81 was yellow with a 3rd of white shirt and black shorts. This year the second is white and black and the third yellow. And we did draw 1-1 with Spurs in the 4th last game of the season. We also won the league cup and Norwich were relegated

We didn't even win the league in 1981!

Poop on the stat all you want, it's total bs!

We did beat Man City on the final day though, if we want to rescue anything from this sorry statement.

What was going on with Ken and Deirdre in ‘81 FFS?

I think all we can ask for now is that we go into the last match with a sluggers chance.

City’s tough games are the two away ones.

It's been all but over since the draw with them at the Etihad. Peps reaction post match showed he also thought the same.

Key is to keep players fresh for the FA Cup and European cup via squad rotation.

                          They're really not

Wolves and West Ham are doing nothing against this Citeh team.

I'm all for being optimistic (no really ) but let's not deluded ourselves. The title has gone.

That's game over on goal difference

It was in our own hands, and then it wasn't.

yup concentrate on what we can control, the league was just a step too far for us. Hoping City slip up whilst trying to remain perfect ourselves was wishful thinking.
