Think as we get more games under our belt this season, a lot of teams are going to see that the old us is back and the teams that are not good enough to go punch for punch with us will be in damage limitation mode early on in games.

One thing I didn't like is that Jurgen changed the defence, midfield and attack in the same game. I never like that, makes us disjointed.

This game was a good way for Klopp to take a look at some of the tier 2 lads and see we're they're at

The other game in the group was a draw so a two point advantage over A Madrid already.

If the pen went in, we would have blitzed them. 2 lapses in concentration cost us, we were just too casual and stopped pressing, slower tempo suited them. As soon as we upped the tempo they struggled, a more clinical Liverpool side smashes the life out of them.

Missing the pen gave them the drive to push forward more and we didnt adapt for five minutes to soak it up.

Trent channelling his inner terry mcdermott, great game, although some very sloppy high crosses. Fabinho was imperious in the middle. Best two players by a mile

Not cock ups really. We switched off a bit for them, but Milan still had to play through us to score.

Excellent game apart from some sloppiness in the last 10 mins of the first half. All the players who came in played well. For some periods of the game we were superb and totally dominant. Would not have been unfair if we'd won this 3 or 4 nil.
