I don't get that rationale.

For me, I'd prefer one of our league rivals to get Atletico Madrid in the next round rather than Porto.

The next round of the CL is in Feb / March - a key stage in the league campaign. I'd be happy enough to see Atletico kick lumps out of the likes of KdB, Sterling or Mount etc.....
