    Liverpool v Arsenal (a) Caraboa Cup Semi Final 1st Leg

    No idea. Who is fit. Who has C19? Who needs rested? We’ve no League match for nearly 2 weeks, but we’ve three cup matches to play in between.

      I think we'll go stronger than that with it being a semi final. I don't see more than a couple of kids playing (Williams and Morton) I don't think both Gomez and Phillips will start I can see it being one of them plus Konate. Fullbacks I agree TAA will be rested and Robbo could do with games.

      Midfield is complicated by the lack of available forwards. Salah and Mane are away at ACN, Firmino has Covid so won't be available. I think we would have gone with a front 3 of Jota, Origi and Minamino if they are all fit, but Origi and Minamino are probably doubtful.My guess would be Ox and Jones would be the two midfielders who could cover up front. Possibly Gordon could come in there too.

      Midfield I think will be Morton plus a couple of the senior guys with a fair bit of rotation perhaps 45 mins each for a couple of guys.

          I think an issue for the front 3 is, bearing in mind we have so few fit, do we save them for the league (and thus give up on scoring goals in this game), or use the strongest line up we have in this game and hope they will stay fit for the league matches too. I don't want to be knocked out at this stage by Arsenal, so I'd do the former if the result is a credible forward line - otherwise I'd give up on the Carabao and rest all first 11 players. .

              Dont think so. 2 against Leicester and the Chelsea game.

              He'd have been back yesterday if the Leeds game wasn't postponed
