Solid enough. Not at his best but not bad.
I'd say to anyone to watch Hendo when we are out of possession and how he leads and organises the press. When we are playing well, he is pivotal in leading and organising this and its a huge part of what we do. There are times when Arseanl had the ball at the back and Hendo was waiting for a loose pass when it came, that was the trigger and he was on it, all the while shouting at Gordon, or whomever to close in on the Arsenal outball. He did this a load of times with Gordon as the only ball on was to the left back. He also helped Gordon throughout the game.
He is no slouch but on games when our press isnt working it can expose all the midfielders if they are caught pressing. I font think that happens much though, maybe Spurs and at times vs Chelsea. But those are tough away games and we played alright.
In possession he could do better, and be more dynamic in possession, I agree. But he played well enough yesterday. Just following the ball and watching what happens with the player in possession of the ball, is not the entire game.
