As the ball is out of play already it wouldn't be difficult for the VAR official to tell the ref if he got it wrong wasting almost no time. If they chose to allow VAR input on it.Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostOutside VARs remit, which is understandable, otherwise nearly everything would need checked.
Not excuse for the on pitch officials to miss those from where they were though. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

They'd have to review it first. Over the course of a game it would delay things if they reviewed every corner, goalkick, throw on etc.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostAs the ball is out of play already it wouldn't be difficult for the VAR official to tell the ref if he got it wrong wasting almost no time.
