    Liverpool v Southampton (A) PL

Relentless scheduling continues. We were on fumes in ET yesterday.

Tricky selection ahead, pretty much depends on what happens at West Ham this PM.

I’m guessing Salah, VVD, Robbo all need time out. Hendo played 120 as did Thiago. Fabinho out…

    Allison

    Gomez
    Matip
    Konate
    Tsmikas

    Milner
    Jones
    Keita

    Origi
    Firmino
    Jota

Ox has disappeared now, suspect he has a move lined up but if not feels like the sort of game where he should be getting some minutes.

    Jota starts surely?

Regardless, if Naby and Milner both play, doesn't matter who the other 9 are as it normally guarantees a win.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

If City do beat West Ham today (I don't think they will), it will be odd watching a meaningless game.

A draw will be a pain as it keeps us in it with a really slim chance

Surely that's what it's all about?

If WHU win then we're right in it. If City win, we're out of it.

If it's a draw then that point is almost certainly enough for City but we'll still have to field a full strength side just in case

Unless West Ham hammer them (no pun intended), draw or defeat makes little difference as we'll still be relying on Villa doing something against them.

I'll take any result today if it means we still have a chance. To win every trophy you'll need some freak results, so let's see what happens.

City win today, then put out ressies against the Saints.

City lose today, then go strong and for a big score line against the Saints and make next weekend a straight shootout with the blue mancs.

Antonio will beat Fernandinho to score a header today. Coutinho will score a last minute equaliser next week.

                    No. 20 in the bag.

West Ham are scoring three today with Bowen having a hand in all three goals

                        I could well believe it.

Got to rotate against Southampton regardless of what happens today.

72 hours after extra time in a cup final and 4 players going off in the last 2 games with fatigue issues. There’ll be others who are on the brink. Still got to keep an eye on Paris too.
